This flower has been the most difficult to photograph so far, because it is so tiny and delicate. But I really think it is lovely, particularly because of the color of the anthers (the parts that carry the pollen). Typically, the anthers are yellow, but the tiarella’s are a muted pink. Obviously, it is not nearly as spectacular as some of the other flowers, but there’s something to be said for sublety. You definitely need to view the full size image of this one.

I am surprised that this plant is even alive. In early spring, a wild rabbit ate it down to barely nothing, so I dug it up and moved it to a “safer” spot in the yard. It has revived and even bloomed. I look forward to next spring when it should be fully recovered.
